The Misty Mountain Trilogy

The Complete Journey of the Wanderer

Three books. One journey.

For dreamers, creators, and anyone who has ever felt there was something more waiting just beyond the next bend in the trail.

The Misty Mountain Trilogy brings together the complete journey of the Wanderer for the first time in one collection.

It begins with a simple question:

What if there is more?

In The Way to Misty Mountain, a Wanderer leaves the familiar comfort of his Woodshed and follows an old story toward a mountain hidden in the mist. He isn't looking for riches or recognition. He's searching for something he can't quite name, and discovers a village filled with makers, storytellers, musicians, and ordinary people who may understand something about creativity that he's spent a lifetime trying to find.

But reaching the mountain was never really the end of the journey.

In What the Trees Have Been Trying to Tell Us, the Wanderer returns home and begins to understand that some of the most important things he learned weren't waiting on a distant mountain at all. They were waiting in ordinary days, quiet places, old trees, conversations, mistakes, and moments he'd passed a thousand times without really seeing.

And finally, in Pull Up a Chair, the story changes.

The Wanderer steps aside.

And I take the chair beside you.

I tell you where he came from, how much of myself found its way into his story without my realizing it, and what Misty Mountain, the Woodshed, the people along the trail, and the journey itself eventually came to mean to me.

Because somewhere along the way, I realized these were never really three separate books.

They were three parts of the same journey.

The search.
The return.
And finally... understanding what the journey was really about.

This isn't a roadmap for finding all the answers.

It's a story about continuing to ask the questions.

About making things.

Getting lost.

Starting over.

Paying attention.

Finding your people.

And remembering that becoming who you are doesn't end simply because you've traveled a few miles down the road.

So make yourself a cup of coffee.

Pull your pack a little tighter.

There's a lantern up ahead.

Let's go find out where it leads.
